Lizzo is keeping her fans updated on her fitness journey, and her latest Instagram video, shared on Aug. 14, has quickly gone viral.
The 36-year-old singer showcased her toned arms in a before-and-after video, where she’s seen working out in the gym. The video starts with Lizzo, dressed in a black two-piece workout outfit, performing squats in front of what appears to be a lat pulldown machine.
In the next clip, she’s seen in a stylish purple one-piece, kneeling on the floor while executing swift, powerful arm exercises. She ends the video with a smile and a nod to the camera.
Though Lizzo didn’t specify how much time had passed between the two clips, she highlighted her progress in the caption, writing, "If you’re reading this… remember you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to! Stay focused, you got this 💪🏾"
Set to the tune of “Like That” by Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar, the video has already garnered over 420,000 likes, with fans flooding the comments to show their support.
One fan commented, “I think she only wants to prove we can live a healthier life and LOOK HEALTHY without any medical or surgery procedures. This is the raw and realistic side of weight loss without getting a BBL.”
Another added, “Okay, we love a strong woman 💪💪”
This post is part of Lizzo’s ongoing dedication to fitness, something she addressed last year. She shared that her focus on fitness is largely driven by the demands of her high-energy performances.
"Weight loss comes with the territory, but I'm not trying to escape fatness," she said at the time. "Heavy on the 'not trying to escape fatness.' Heavy f---ing on it."
Lizzo explained the physical demands of her job, saying, "For 90 minutes a night, I have to do choreography, sing, dance, rap, play the flute, and connect with the crowd—all while wearing tight outfits that sometimes restrict my breathing."
"It’s fun. I love my job. But it takes a lot of physical endurance to do what I do, and while I used to embrace a rockstar lifestyle, I’ve become more serious about the physical aspect of my career as I’ve gotten more professional," she added.

Perhaps, if he were to divorce you ˹all˺, his Lord would replace you with better wives who are submissive ˹to Allah˺, faithful ˹to Him˺, devout, repentant, dedicated to worship and fasting—previously married or virgins.
