Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke stepped out separately in New York City on Tuesday, in what marked their first public appearance since the two called off their engagement and wedding two months ago.
The former couple attended a party celebrating the season 3 premiere of Winter House, the reality series that stars many of their former Summer House stars including Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula and Danielle Olivera.
The party, held at Rocco’s Sports & Recreation in NoHo (where plenty of LoverBoy was stocked behind the bar). Also in attendance was the bulk of the Winter House cast including Kory Keefer, Brian Benni, Casey Craig, Jordan Emanuel, Katie Flood, Alex Propson, Jason Cameron, Samantha Feher and Tom Schwartz. Summer House’s Gabby Prescod was there, too.
Hubbard and Radke didn’t interact at the event, though both were in good spirits. Radke, 38, arrived first, chatting with guests and taking pictures with fans throughout the L-shaped space. He remained on one side of the room when Hubbard, 37, arrived and traveled into the other to see her fellow Bravolebrities.
While doing so, Radke slipped out. Hubbard left soon thereafter. “Big night for these guys,” she later wrote on Instagram Story, sharing video from the party.
The Bravo stars are expected to next appear together next month at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas. Both will be on the same Summer House panel alongside their season 7 costars.
Rumors of their split first broke at the end of August, though things weren’t made official until nearly two weeks later when, on Sept. 11, the pair officially called off their wedding in a letter written by Radke to family and friends.
“The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I’m crushed with how all this transpired,” he wrote. “I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time.”
“I’m sorry again this has become such a mess,” Radke continued. “Thanks for your unconditional love and support during this tough time. Will be in touch with further updates. With love, Carl.”
A few days later, Hubbard shared her own thoughts on the breakup in an Instagram post. “The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life,” she wrote. “My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all — with no answers or closure on why.”
Hubbard added that she feels “humiliated by how it went down” and “heartbroken.”
The reality stars met while filming the first season of Summer House in 2016, however, the pair stayed friends during that time as they were both dating other people at the time. They eventually sparked a romance in the fourth season of the show before ultimately deciding that they were better off as friends, but then rekindled their romance again in 2021 thanks to a prom-themed party where sparks flew between them.
“We’re lucky because eventually, the universe came together and the timing worked out!” Hubbard shared in May 2022. “I don’t think I’ve ever been in a healthier relationship. Falling in love with your best friend, I don’t think there’s any better feeling in the world.”
In August 2022, Radke surprised Hubbard with a romantic private proposal in Southhampton, a moment that was captured by Bravo cameras for Summer House’s seventh season.Hubbard celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a garden party-themed bridal shower in August before their wedding was called off a month later.
Winter House and Summer House can be streamed in full on Peacock.
