Kid Cudi has successfully undergone his second foot surgery!
The 40-year-old rapper revealed on Instagram on Wednesday, May 22, that he underwent a second operation following a foot injury sustained during his Coachella performance in 2024.
The post featured a photo of him in a hospital bed, giving two thumbs up, followed by a playful shot of him in a purple hospital gown and blue bouffant cap.
The next day, Cudi expressed gratitude towards his fiancée, Lola Abecassis Sartore, who has been by his side throughout his recovery.
"My ride or die holdin' me down.😘😘 My babe stayed all day and even slept at the hospital. I am so blessed to have her y'all. Thank you, God 🥹🙏🏾💞," he wrote in a subsequent post.
The photo accompanying the message showed a beaming Cudi in a hospital bed next to Sartore.
Sartore commented on the post, "Through sickness and through health! 💕💕💕."
Cudi had announced his engagement to Sartore just days before his Coachella performance.
"My fiancée Lola and me at the Knuckles premiere. This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and I'm so excited to share this news with you all 🥹 Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect 😉🙏🏾," he shared in an Instagram post on Wednesday, April 17.
Following his injury at Coachella, Cudi revealed that the damage was more severe than he initially thought, leading him to cancel his summer tour.
"We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all. There's just no way I can bounce back in time to give 100%. The injury is much more serious than I thought," he announced in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday, April 24.

then he approached ˹the Prophet˺, coming so close
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ (Then he drew near, and came down,... 53:8). The word dana means to draw near and tadalla means to hang or to come down. The verse means that Jibra'il علیہ السلام drew nearby coming down.
