"Envious of those who don’t have to endure this, but at least it’s nearing its conclusion,” remarked the 19-year-old with a sigh of relief.
Isabella Strahan is nearing the final stretch.
On June 13, the 19-year-old scholar and model unveiled the latest episode of her YouTube series, chronicling her arduous health journey following an urgent surgery in October 2023 to excise a substantial medulloblastoma — a malignant neoplasm located in her cerebellum.
In this vlog entry, Isabella — daughter of Michael Strahan — travels to the Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, to undergo her fourth and final bout of chemotherapy.
“It’s the final round of chemotherapy! We’re departing New York today to head to North Carolina for my last session,” she exclaims, beaming with anticipation.
“I’m thrilled because it’s hopefully the last time ever!” she continues. “I’m envious of those who don’t have to go through this ordeal, but it’s nearly over and I’m praying for those still fighting.”
Following initial assessments and fluid administration, Isabella begins her chemotherapy regimen. Over the ensuing days in the hospital, she endeavors to maintain a positive demeanor and stay active, though she acknowledges the toll the medications take on her.
“I’m utterly exhausted. It’s a struggle to keep my eyes open,” she confesses. “My legs are already weakening, making it difficult to move.”
The vlog also captures a heartwarming moment between Isabella and a young boy at the hospital who had undergone a bone marrow transplant. They exchange stories of their health battles and celebrate each other’s “small victories.”
As Isabella braces herself for the remainder of her chemotherapy, she eagerly anticipates the “confetti parade” upon completion and the opportunity to ring the celebratory bell.
Last month, Isabella expressed her eagerness to finish chemotherapy in another vlog post.
“I just want it to be June already,” she mentioned at the time. “I feel like I’m always waiting for the next chemo session and I’m a bit apprehensive about transitioning back to normal life. It seems like there’s always another treatment or something else looming. But that’s a concern for later.”
“Otherwise, I’m doing well,” she concluded.

On that Day there will be no need for any human or jinn to be asked about their sins.
Then which of your Lord’s favours will you both deny?
