Isabella Strahan, the 19-year-old daughter of Michael Strahan, has been using humor to navigate her challenging health journey following her brain tumor diagnosis. In a TikTok video posted on May 30, Isabella joined a popular trend, using audio from Salma Hayek’s interview at the Time 100 Gala in April 2023.
The audio asks, "What’s the most expensive thing you’re wearing?" Isabella responded hilariously, "Probably my brain," while uploading a sentimental picture of herself in the hospital with her head wrapped in bandages. She captioned the post, "This photo gets me every time," and added a playful comment, "I like to be the most expensive child obviously."
Fans responded with support and well-wishes, applauding her for participating in the trend despite her ongoing treatment for a brain tumor.
In her YouTube series, Isabella revealed in April that she had undergone her third craniotomy, just a month after her second. She candidly discussed the intense pain she was experiencing, saying, "It’s not as bad as the first time but I’m really in pain. They do give me pain medicine…they don’t work that well on me. So I’m in a lot of pain," she said, tearing up. "My head really really hurts right now. Not gonna lie, I’ve been crying a lot. I’m in a lot of pain. It’s not as bad as last time… my face isn’t as puffy but it literally hurts to do anything."
Isabella also talked about the physical challenges she faces, with multiple IVs, a picc line, and a chemotherapy port making movement difficult and painful. She discussed her eating issues, saying, "I haven't eaten much in the last three or four days, kind of nothing." It's terribly horrible, but I can't eat and I'm not hungry. There are ups and downs to this since I was eating a lot a week ago and now I can't eat. I’m in a down right now."
Having undergone radiation and three rounds of chemotherapy in addition to her surgeries, Isabella has one more round of chemo left. She expressed her eagerness to finish her treatment, saying in a recent vlog, "I just want it to be June already. That's the thing: I'm simply waiting for the next time I receive chemo, and I'm worried about how I'll get back to normal once I'm done. Because I feel as if there will always be another therapy or something I need to do. But that’s a later problem."
Despite the hardships, Isabella remains positive, concluding, "Otherwise, I’m doing good."
The Quran - Chapter An-Najm : 49
And He alone is the Lord of Sirius.
وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَىٰ (and that He is the One who is the Lord of Sirius ...53:49) The word shi` ra with the diacritical symbol kasrah under the letter shin is the name of a star, called Sirius which is behind Jauza'.
Some of the Arab tribes worshipped the mighty star, Sirius, because they regarded it as a source of good or bad luck for them.
Allah mentions this star in particular in order to refute their false notion and to affirm that He is the Lord and Master of this star as well, although He is the Creator, Master and Lord of all the stars, heavens and the earth.
