Chrissy Teigen is encouraging her followers to pay attention to the signs of aging and not overlook potential health issues.

On Tuesday, August 13, the author of "Cravings" and TV personality, 38, shared a candid update on her Instagram Stories regarding some recent eye concerns. She humorously recounted how she had initially dismissed her blurry vision, attributing the "tiny silver flecks" she was seeing to angelic phenomena.

Teigen revealed she had not seen her therapist in four or five weeks due to her recent travels, noting, "I probably haven't gone this long without seeing him before."

During a recent therapy session on Sunday, August 11, she mentioned to her therapist that she had been spending a lot of time sewing and painting. Teigen explained to her audience that she had been experiencing various eye problems, including what felt like a "thick film" over her eyes and persistent "bleary-eyed" vision, particularly in the mornings.

She elaborated on her symptoms: "I’ve also been dealing with dryness around my eyes, which becomes particularly noticeable when I'm engaged in painting or sewing."

Teigen continued, "Sometimes when I blink, I see what looks like glitter—little silver particles falling everywhere. I joked with him that I’ve convinced myself these are angels."

She laughed as she recounted telling her therapist, "Every time I see these flecks of glitter, I think it's an angel watching over me."

Her therapist advised her to seek professional medical advice for her eye issues. "He looked at me and said, 'You should probably go to the hospital or see an eye doctor to get this checked out,'" Teigen shared in her video clip.

She added, "Being in Los Angeles, I joked that my poor vision, which I might have mistaken for something as serious as a brain tumor, could actually just be angels." She cautioned her followers, "The takeaway here is not to become so spiritually whimsical that you ignore clear signs of aging or vision loss."

Teigen's update on her health came alongside a separate post where she flaunted her surgical scars during a date night with her husband, John Legend, 45. In a plunging black dress, she commented, "Date night, a rare occasion, but it does happen... with boobies out and scars visible."

Teigen demonstrated how she covered her scars with a body chain, saying, "Wear a body chain; it kind of hides them," while showcasing the glittering gold accessory.

She has been open about her past surgeries, previously disclosing on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" that she has undergone breast enhancement procedures three times. "I’ve had a lift, had implants put in, had them removed, and I don’t like them out," she confirmed, revealing her first breast implant surgery in 2020.

The Quran - Chapter At-Talaq : 01

O Prophet! ˹Instruct the believers:˺ When you ˹intend to˺ divorce women, then divorce them with concern for their waiting period, and count it accurately. And fear Allah, your Lord. Do not force them out of their homes, nor should they leave—unless they commit a blatant misconduct. These are the limits set by Allah. And whoever transgresses Allah’s limits has truly wronged his own soul. You never know, perhaps Allah will bring about a change ˹of heart˺ later.
