Lamar, celebrated for hits like "Type of Way" and "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)," was a dedicated father to five children: sons Devin, Royal, Khosen, and Layor, along with his daughter Alayna.


The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed Lamar's passing, stating they were informed by Grady Memorial Hospital of his death. An autopsy was conducted on Friday; however, the exact cause of death remains undetermined, pending further laboratory analysis and microscopic examination of tissue samples.


Following the heartbreaking news, tributes to Lamar began pouring in from fellow artists across social media. Rapper Boosie, 41, posted, "JUST TALKED TO YOU BRA #tipQUAN Never go forget yo smile n the way you talked n of course yo music."

Born on October 4, 1989, Lamar officially entered the music scene in 2012 and rose to prominence the following year with his hit "Type of Way," as well as a notable feature on YG's "My N----" alongside Jeezy.
