Bobby East was killed after being stabbed in California.
The former NASCAR driver, Bobby East, 37, was killed after being stabbed by a suspected attacker at a gas station while fueling his vehicle in the Orange Country area of California.
According to details, East was stabbed to the chest area and transported to a local trauma center by the paramedics but he could not survived to his injures.
Bobby was born in Torrance, California and was a three-time champion on the US Auto Club circuit and also won the SAC Silver Crown championships in 2012 and 2013.
The suspect escaped the scene and identified as Trent William Millsap, 27 who was found to have an outstanding parole warrant.
Later, Westminster Police shared that the suspect was traced in an apartment on Lincoln avenue in the City of Anaheim. The suspect became confrontational while presented a warrant at the location and killed in resistance.
The motive of the murder was not clear yet, investigations are in progress.
