Summer House
fans never thought Danielle Olivera would be the one to activate best friend Lindsay Hubbard, but differing opinions about Hubbard’s relationship with Carl Radke caused the duo to end season 7 on separate pages.

As Hubbard approached her wedding to Radke Olivera showed up to support the publicist at her bridal shower in August. And after Hubbard, 37, and Radke, 38, ended their engagement later that summer, Olivera stood by her friend.

“Lindsay and I are back together!” Olivera, 34, confirms.

She says the reconciliation happened over the summer while they filmed season 8 of Summer House.

“I went in open-minded, and she did the same,” says Olivera, who also stars in season 3 of Winter House. “And at first I was like, ‘There’s going to be boundaries.’ I went into it not wanting to get back to where we were, but to have something completely new, and we definitely achieved that.”

The Donne app co-founder shares that “a lot of things were squashed” over the summer.

“I think the reunion was hot at times, but a lot of things that needed to be said were said, and I think we’ve truly moved on from all of that,” Olivera says.

Olivera joined Hubbard, as well as their castmates Sam Feher and Gabby Prescod, in The Bahamas last month for what they originally intended to be Hubbard’s bachelorette party.

“It’s a brand-new friendship,” Olivera says. “And I think we’re better off for it, which is so strange to say with all that everything that went down. It was almost a blessing in disguise — a big disguise — because I really love where we are now. It’s a healthier friendship.”

The newly reunited BFFs have since hung out in New York City, attending the 20th anniversary celebration of Little Ruby’s West Village location together and joining the other Summer House ladies for dinner at Point Seven earlier this month.

“It was awesome to see everyone rally around Lindsay,” Olivera says of Hubbard having her costars’ support. “Everyone’s perspective on everything is different, but I think that we can all agree that we want to be there for her. And that’s what, oddly is a unifying force, and I think that it really was just fun.”

Olivera says she and her Summer House castmates “didn’t really talk about the past” over dinner at Point Seven.

“Honestly, was a big topic,” Olivera says. “Just silly things — BravoCon outfits, what’s going on and what’s the latest tea. It just felt so easy and so natural. I hope that people get to see that.”

Olivera looks forward to spending time with her Summer House and Winter House castmates at BravoCon in Las Vegas this weekend. “It’s going to be the best reunion,” she says. “We might burn down the place.”

She also wants to meet the new Real Housewives of New York City cast, especially Sai De Silva.

“I really love Sai!” Olivera says. “Maybe it’s our Hispanic connection, but I think she’s just such a badass. I love that she’s opinionated and I really love that spice, because sometimes I’m a little misunderstood for my spice too. You can’t win them all. So I just want to introduce myself to her That would be probably on the top of my list.”

Winter House airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
