After years of an on-again-off-again relationship, 90 Day Fiancé stars Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev have tied the knot in a secret ceremony.
In a joint Instagram post with TLC on Wednesday, Silva, 49, announced that she and Rusev married in a small ceremony on November 11. The image showed the newlyweds holding hands to display their rings, along with a caption confirming the news.
“I’m thrilled to share that Georgi and I got married on our special day of November 11th. I’ve been on a long journey to find love, and in the end, love wins. I’m so blessed for you all to be a part of my journey in life, love, and happiness. Thank you for all the love and support!”
Fans have seen Silva and Rusev’s tumultuous relationship — which included two called-off engagements -documented on Darcey & Stacey, the reality spin-off Silva shares with her twin sister, Stacey. At the end of the recent season, viewers saw the couple call it quits ahead of Stacey’s wedding, where Rusev was Florian Sukaj ‘s best man.
“It’s so hard to see Georgi here,” Darcey said on the April finale. “It’s really uncomfortable and awkward.”
Rusev later expressed at the rehearsal dinner that he still had hope for reconciliation with Darcey, who had invited another date — Zach — to the wedding.
Darcey said she felt betrayed by her ex: “I’m so pissed off at Georgi, all he wants to do in sabotage my life, my opportunity with Zach… now that everyone knows at the table, I’m sure my dad is going to hear about it, my kids are going to hear about it. That’s the last thing I want.”
After uninviting Zach to the wedding, Darcey and Rusev had a conversation about the future of their relationship, with them seemingly wanting very different things. While Darcey told her now-hubby she was going to “move on,” he said he wanted to end up with her.
“I truly don’t want to talk to Georgi but I’m just going to take this opportunity and let him know it’s time to completely move on and walk away,” she said. “After tonight, I don’t want any more communication with him ever again.”
He then declared: “If I want something, I don’t wanna give up. I’m going there and follow my heart on what I want, and I want you… I want to fight for you. I’m going to fight for you and I’ve been fighting for you.”
