46 People Dead, 16 Hospitalized After Being Found Inside 18-Wheeler in San Antonio

46 believed to be illegal migrants found dead in 18-Wheeler in San Antonio.

According to the police department, at least 46 people including men and women have been found dead and 16 others including 12 adults and four children fainted due to suffocation amid temperature around 103 degrees in an 18-Wheeler trailer at the 9600 block of Quintana road in San Antonio, Texas. Officials believed the tragic incident happened with the illegal and undocumented migrants. 

According to the Chief William P. McManus during a live press conference via Facebook that police received the first call at 5:50 p.m. local time. An employee from nearby building "heard a cry for help" and "came out to investigate." Upon approaching the truck, he saw the door was "partially open" and soon found the causalities.

Police have arrested three suspects during their preliminary investigation who might be connected to this tragic incident.

It is a matter of human smuggling and investigations are in progress and details are kept hidden so far.
