Jerry Harris sentenced to 12 Years in Federal Prison in Child Pornography case.
The Netflix docuseries Cheer Star, Jerry Harris, 22, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for child pornography charges as he used his fame and money to convince victims for sexual conduct.
According to the prosecutors, Harris was a self proclaimer who used his status, social media persona, his celebrity and money to convince minors to share sexually inappropriate photos and messages with him for money. Harris also used to threaten to leak their inappropriate photos and videos which they had sent if they refuse to do sexual conduct.
The reality star's legal team requested that their client suffered sexual abuse himself when he was underage, which caused him to have a "skewed version of what he understood to be appropriate relationships".
